Lijah Hanley

This body of work was created with the desire to combine traditional black and white photography with whimsical figures that you might find under a dark desert sky. All of my images are unaltered and are created using only practical effects. I intentionally use very high ISOs to create the appearance of film grain, and to add texture and warmth to each image. Images in this series are in small, fine art editions of 35. I print all of my images on museum grade photographic paper for superior fade resistance and are framed using the highest gallery standards.
