By juxtaposing the cool finish of polished sterling silver with patterned, oxidized and matte areas, I strive to give my pieces warmth and a real awareness that they are of the hand, yet modern and clean at the same time. The various surface finishes define the space within a piece.

My inspiration comes from the manmade as well as the natural. My aim has been to present a different take on objects that have been made many times before by many people. I endeavor, in my work to strike my own unique balance between the contemporary and the antique, the sleek and the irregular.
