Ronia Grillos

Every hat I make is hand constructed using top grain cowhide, fine boar suede and/or breathable fabrics. Using traditional leather working techniques, parts are cut, hand formed, glued and sewn to create the hat. I then shape and characterize by wetting, forming, pushing and prodding until each hat has just the right styling. It is then trimmed with domestic or exotic (non-endangered) skins. Fine fashion colored skins bring a soft, feminine look to many of my hats but many styles are designed for the men in the crowd. Each piece is an artistic, functional statement.
