After years of making functional bowls and vases we are now interested in learning from and repeating interesting “mistakes”. Learning from failure can be inspiring and the point of departure from traditional functional forms to asymmetrical and elegant forms. Our ability as experienced craftsman, with patience and persistence, has shown us how to make forms that first appear random, but on further study, make cohesive wall groups in color and shape or well proportioned tabletop pieces.
