allo is the creative alter ego of Dallas-based artist, Manuel Herrera. On one hand, allo is a prefix that means “different,” which has been his rally cry to “be different from the beginning.” On the other, the “allo mark” is three simple shapes. Triangle. Square. Circle.

Herrera’s work is an arrangement of unique shapes, not one of them identical in form or color. It’s chaotic and calm. Multi-faceted and minimal. His work is a celebration of simple shapes, movement, and color. It’s proof that anything can be stripped down, simplified and still be stunning.
