My work is about mark-making and composition. I have developed my own vocabulary and symbology using nature and architecture to convey my interpretation of the world around me. I am not trying to replicate anything I see, merely create a visual, emotional response to it. Certain imagery does find its way into each piece which may stay for a while, only to be replaced at some point by other forms and images. I am trying to pull an emotional response to my work from the viewer as well.
