Lawrence Oliverson

My objective as a photographer is to create images that transcend the original subject and stimulate an emotional or intellectual response in the viewer. I do this by isolating segments of a much larger scene or by creating somewhat minimalist still life compositions. I like to focus on the relationships between shapes, color, and texture often with an abstract or semi-abstract perspective. To maintain the highest standards, I personally perform all the creative aspects involved in my work.
