Medium: Italian Calfskin and English Leather

Method of Production:

– I inlay, overlay, trapunto and combine the most interesting and exciting leathers I can fins from all over the world to produce my unique designer collections of business accessories and personal leather goods.

– I hand etch my own designs on English saddle leather which I hand color with an airbrush to achieve a feeling of “Southwest/Deco”.

Educational Statement:

I have been designing and producing leather goods since 1971. I continue to study design technique, construction and fashion trends in Milan and Florence, Italy.

All my work is designed, created, constructed and assembled by me. I have assistants that help me finish edges and clean and pack the finished work. To clarify: all processes that make this work my own personal statement is done by Joseph Henderson.
