There is a sense of peace and solace within my images – of mystery and primal longings. They are contemplative and familiar and as intaglio prints process rich textures and tonal qualities. My early prints were simple line etchings, engravings and drypoints, but over time I added other techniques such as aquatint and mezzotint. I also began to incorporate watercolour painting and photo-etching with my some of my original prints. I enjoy the merging of centuries
