Daniel Wright & Stephanie Wright

I work with vintage military surplus findings, along with new materials and leather to make bags and travel accessories. I draw inspiration from military and early 20th century designs that were made to last. I am self taught, and in the last 6 years have developed a signature look with original designs that put longevity and functionality first. My technical background as an industrial repair electrician has helped me to originate unique, dependable goods that you reach for time after time. I source American made fabrics, along with high quality vegetable tanned leather from an established tannery in Pennsylvania. I use three industrial sewing machines to create my goods with the exception of hand stitching on some items that give my products a special quality and look unmatched by a machine. I also incorporate military fasteners, including lift-the-dot snaps and vintage zippers, into my designs. By efficiently using materials such as these to create durable and non-disposable products, I am supporting a movement toward less waste for our future, and a trend toward high quality American products.
