Bill Turner

My paintings are mostly oil on canvas, painted in thin successive layers- and represent the last 15 years of my 30-year career as an artist, although all my earlier efforts have led directly to these paintings. I started as a photographer and still produce photographs – See my “Portfolio” page. I had a basic course in photography in my last year of college. Ever since that class, my first experience in visual arts, I’ve had a mild compulsion to create visual images that strike a chord in me.
