I have access to surplus aerospace grade epoxy composites, along with carbon fiber and other materials. I fashion them into unique one-of-a-kind lampshades that will mix and match with the colorful Raku fired bases. Each shade is laid up on flat glass, bound around a mandrel and placed in my kiln for the thermoset resin to flow. Each lamp is gestural in its stance with multiple shade options.
