“The Industrial Series,” is influenced by antique oil and gas cans, camping equipment, and architectural designs. The textures of the clay and the high-fired iron clay body create the appearance of aged antiquities and industrial designs. The cracking of high magnesium glazes gives both the look and tactile touch of peeling paint and weathered surfaces. The resulting rough-textured, geometric forms and machine-influenced structures maintain functionality.
