I draw inspiration from the timeless forces that shape our world—flowing water carving canyons, and wind and sand slowly sculpting stone—captivated by the beauty and complexity of these natural processes. In my work, I capture the intricate textures of natural surfaces, drawn to their depth and complexity. Guided by a reductionist aesthetic that values clean lines and minimal ornamentation, I balance this intricacy with clarity and restraint. Each piece is hand-painted using acrylics, iron pigments, patinas, stippling, and airbrush shading to create multi-dimensional surfaces that evoke fluidity and movement, reflecting the dynamic essence of the natural world.
