As far back as I can remember I have loved working with my hands and especially with wood.I am entirely self-taught and have developed my own style and process as you can see in the way I form laminate the sides of the boxes with thin layers of wood, then attach specially designed wooden hinges to make the box lid functional. I then carve or sculpt the lids to the desired shape and unite them with their bases. I never use stains or hard plastic finish on any of my work, only a blend of natural oils, preferring that the natural color and beauty of the wood is available to see and feel. I have been producing fine woodcraft since 1987 and have my work shown in many fine galleries throughout the U.S. “As the world continues to change and quicken, people will thirst for objects made by hand of natural materials”.
