For me painting is not a profession, is the way of being. Passion to express the world around me comes together and resolves itself into the images of life in the big profound city, spiritually charged with human senses. Most ideas derive from abstract feelings, mixed with the real deatils of the surrounding world. Before starting to spread oils or acrylics on the surface of canvas, I work with different structures of primer, seeking more passionate, uneven and contrastive expressiveness. I use the marble powder and different colors of acrylics, including metallic paint instead of regular primer. When I work, I always have a wide palette knife, all kiind of brushes, sponges, or anything to proceed bold brushstrokes, spills of paint and smooth transparency effects, according with the entrire composition. Often my painting starts on the floor and getting completed on the easel. I create “deep dimensional” and philopsophical outfit to my painting, whether I work with realistically presented moment and space, or the abstract.
