Hand bound leather books and mixed media collages are created using a variety of found, reclaimed and altered materials. The books are constructed using a fine leather binding technique. After the binding is completed the cover surface is built up and the layers removed in order to create the assemblages and collages. Using materials that have been discarded, objects are altered and manipulated to create an assemblage of objects and a collage backing unifying the composition.
