I approach all of my pieces with balance in mind, all blank canvas’s start with a horizontal and a vertical cross from which i sketch out my ideas, I allow nearly 1/2 of the painting to be improvisational based on the climate of the composition, once the painting starts I let creativity run within the realms of refinement.
