These flowers are made of solid hardwood. I start with an extremely sharp hand plane. I shave, shape, and place each petal on a walnut stem. I cut the shavings from three different species, Purple Heart, Hard Maple, and Walnut. Then I spray a clear coat finish. No stains, no dyes.
