My early childhood was filled with fairytales, of glass slippers leading to a magical life and leprechaun cobblers granting wishes. To me, purpose was to be found in the art of bringing magic to an otherwise mundane world.
Art is so often reserved to walls and galleries, and now sometimes painfully on skin, but very rarely is it enjoyable for an individual to live in. Magazine-worthy homes and runway-ready clothes are beautiful but often seem unreachable, like those fairytales I fell in love with.
By using natural materials of leather, antler, bone, and paint, I can transform someone’s walking experience to feel as if they’re on a magic carpet. I tailor a perfect, Cinderella-like fit for everyone. No matter if they have prosthetics, an uncommon size, or just unique desires, I can create a shoe that people love to live life in, that is comfortable, shows off their personality, and allows them to step in beauty through the snow and mud, work and play. My expertise in leather tooling, painting, dye, appliqué work, and stone setting means that anything is possible.
I make art that inspires people to walk a mile in their own shoes, because their life (and feet) are magical, exactly as they are.
