I’m drawn to the outdoors—collecting small moments from nature and adventures, from everyday walks in my East Dallas neighborhood to mountain tops. These fragments of light, texture, and color find their way into my landscape and botanical paintings. Balancing life as a mother of two little boys and part-time architect, painting becomes both a pause and a pursuit—a way to bring a touch of beauty into the ordinary. I work in layered oils on paper I make by hand or stretched canvas, most often during toddler nap times, hoping to share the beauty of the world around me.
