Using a layering techniques involving colored glass powders, chips, molten drawing, I attempt to depict natural scenes within a glass form. The interactions of the metal oxides in each color add to the painterly look I am striving for. With traditional techniques, using no molds, I want to create a form filled with color that fits the scene depicted in its’ core.
