Michael Barnes

I explore and challenge my imagination using the human face and figure. Using porcelain and/or stoneware clay I employ form, texture, color, and patterning to bring life to my thought and the beings I create. I draw and deal with concepts from a wide variety of sources to create the work. Each piece follows a singular path to completion. Always seeking the unknown.
