Jimi Brass is a DallasÐFort Worth based artist whose sound fuses funk, soul, rock, and R&B into a vibrant mix of groove and grit. Originally from Arkansas, he grew up drumming in his familyÕs Baptist church before teaching himself guitar, drawing inspiration from legends like James Brown, Ray Charles, Prince, and Jimi Hendrix. In 2024, Brass was featured at SXSWÕs ~Pourri ÒFunk FactoryÓ Showcase, performing alongside Janelle Mon‡e, Questlove, and MonoNeon.
