Medium: Painting

Methods of Production: I paint in a very spontaneous manner introducing the dominant colors first and background wash. Then, I use a dry brush to add detail, shading and highlighting.

Materials: Watercolors on paper.

Education: I studied classical Oriental Art in Seoul, Korea. I immigrated to the United States where I continued my studies at the Florida Institute of Technology receiving a diploma in Fine Art. I also studied printmaking and Contemporary Art at the Student League of New York City.

About the work: I have always been interested in studying things that I found in woods and gardens. I use a variety of colors and shapes to create and translate into abstract paintings. I love a sense of warmth, peace and joy and the feeling of fanciful floating nature.

I also illustrate children’s books.
