Yevette & Kevin Lubbers

Artist Yevette Lubbers has been expressing her inspiration of native America contemporary visions using glass since 1985. In 1989, her husband Kevin Lubbers began combining his inspiration of objects and shapes with Yevette. Over the past two decades they have been blending their ideas, creating new techniques, and expressing their abstract visions into sculptural works of kiln worked glass.Natural elements such as glass, metal, stone, fiber, and clay are used to complete their sculptures. Yevette and Kevin give their glass the ability to transmit light in some areas and retain a beautiful opacity for others.
