Wynn Udall

My work is nature-based and allegorical. I like to work from photographs because it’s a direct reflection of reality and communicates much of the randomness of natural experience. I roam the earth in search of evocative imagery, then take it home to my studio to ripen for months or years before deciding whether to develop any individual image as a woodcut, engraving, monotype, or combination of techniques.
