Terry Habeger

My work is made from clay and handpainted with acrylics. I construct sculptural forms, most of which are wheel-thrown and then altered with slabs. I do some purely slab constructions also. All of my forms are closed, that is, no openings. My work has evolved from these sculptural forms to include 3D and flat clay wall pieces. I see my work as both intuitive and analytic. I work with a piece and problem-solve a piece until I am satisfied with it.
