Suzanne Ens

This body of work is influenced by the childhood crafts I learned in 1960s Brownies and Girl Scouts craft projects, and at home where there was always some craft going on. I still love the somewhat kitschy felt animals and Christmas decorations of that era, always decorated with sequins and beads and glitter, embroidery and buttons. (What is not to love?) In addition all of my work, whether made of fiber, clay or mixed media, has always been influenced by the ethnic folk arts and crafts.
