I treat these relatively simple vessel forms as a painter would treat a canvas. I create abstract “paintings”with colored glasses capturing them within the surface of the vessel. My newest extension of this concept includes sculpture and the “Kachina Series” doll forms inspired by the indigenous peoples of the southwest.
