I have been working precious metals since 1970, hand-fabricating jewelry of my original design. The work you see here is sterling silver and 14K gold. All of these pieces are hand-fabricated, meaning that I do not cast or have cast any part of my work. I use no commercial fasteners or findings, preferring to design and fabricate my own fasteners. My studio is in my home.

In 1976 I began a series of designs with tension mounted, interchangeable gemstones and this original concept has been so challenging and well received that now all my rings, earrings, bracelets and slides are tempered and engineered so that their gemstones are securely held, but are easily interchanged by the wearer. This interchangeability is a hidden feature, and does not detract from the aesthetics of my work.
