My present work is the culmination of many years of experimenting with the use of nontraditional materials in jewelry. Through the use of cold joinery techniques, such as riveting, i combine hand cut, found acrylic and bakelite parts with sterling silver to create my designs.I have always been interested in using repetitive forms in unique combinations, creating pieces with common elements yet distinctly separate. When I’m searching for materials I always have the thought “what could this become?’ My main goal has always been to design art with clean lines that is durable and comfortable to wear.
