Sara Strozinsky

My paintings are carefully constructed and rich in the saturated color and intense detail I find in nature. I glaze my pigments and when I have reached the color density I am after, I begin a process of lifting to let the light back in and to hone my composition. My challenge is to interpret the subject matter and present a piece that speaks of nature’s beauty in my own voice.
