The majority of my work is done with a Polaroid SX70 Land Camera. After I take the photograph, the emulsion stays soft for about an hour. In that time I am able to move the emulsion around with a small blunt tool, altering the surface of the Polaroid picture itself. In my opinion, the real beauty of the altered Polarid is revealed in it’s enlargement where all the lines and texture of the alter image is multiplied and looks more like a painting than a photograph. I print my own work digitally using the highest quality archival standards.
