Mimi Damrauer

My fiber art works are intuitively and improvisationally created by machine-stitching 3 layers of fabric that I hand-dye and hand-paint and then hand-cut. I also incorporate fabric and objects that I collect during my world travels weaving together my life diary. I mainly work in “series” creating an original piece and exploring that idea/design by altering color and/or size to create related pieces. I love what I do and my love of people, life, and dreams are captured in my works
