Mimi Damrauer

I grew up in a family where art and cooking projects were always going on. I’ve been a sewer since fourth grade.

After a career as a Special Event Planner, I began creating textile collages with my own hand-dyed fabrics and eventually combined those with exotic textiles from my world travels. I’ve recently incorporated hand-stitching into my latest collections, which were inspired from my trips to India and Thailand.

I’m inspired by everything that I see…cracks in the sidewalks, leaning telephone poles in rural India, and stones on a beach in Italy.
