This series is a response to the past couple of years of control and containment. Through the lens of nostalgia, images are created that reflect upon a new reality. The reality and sensation of release and freedom. The stories dwell on sharing of space, connecting with others and celebrating the moment with cocktails and parties. Each image uses materials from classic films, old photos and vintage advertising. There is a blending of the past into the present. Although we are reminded from a time ago, these pieces reference our modern state of being.
