For me- painting is not a profession, -is the way of being .Passion to express the world around me comes together and resolves itself into the images of life in the big, noisy city. Sometimes it sparkles as the night street lights; sometimes it plays piano in the golden background. But most of my ideas derive from abstract feelings, mixed with the real details of the surrounding world. Before starting to spread the oil paint on the surface of canvas, I work with the different structures of primer, seeking more passionate, uneven and contrastive expressiveness. I use the marble powder, and different colors of acrylic paint instead of regular primer. Golden or silver metallic paint accompanies my artwork as well.Bold brushstrokes or spills of paint combined together with the photo realistic hand painted or silk screened documental objects takes me into the “neoclassical game” on the playground of canvas.I create the “deep dimensional” and philosophical outfit to the pictures by projecting several layers of time and space.
