My designs reflect shapes and forms found in nature and also from my Scandinavian heritage. I use my daily walks in nature to draw inspiration from the landscape, sometimes it is a leaf or a twig that kick starts the creative process for a new beautiful jewelry. My designs are simple but many of them incorporate flowers and other elements to give an organic touch of them. I use mainly silver, copper and brass with both precious and semi-precious stones and freshwater pearls to create one of a kind piece of jewelry. In my work I use different metalsmithing techniques, some of my favorites are anticlastic raising and stone setting. Currently my artistic focus is in creating unique rings with faceted stones. I am originally from Finland but have been living in Texas since 2005. I have studied metal and silversmithing at The Dallas Craft Guild and at The Arlington Gem and Mineral Club.
