Joseph Hopps

Arbor Castle Birdhouses is a Texas original. They are designed and hand crafted in the tiny woodland village of Edom in East Texas by artist and craftsman Joseph Hopps. The trees that become the heart of each castle are gathered locally, hollowed and dried for up to one year. Joseph’s designs are functional, and may become the home for a variety of small nesting songbirds including wrens, chickadees, nuthatches, titmouse, bluebirds, tree swallows and others. Most of Joseph’s one of a kind creations however, are collected and displayed for their whimsical character and woodland magic. See you in Edom.
