Joseph Bradley

Each of my paintings is an expression of intuition and experimentation. My recent work centers around themes in nature, our relationships with the environment, and the emotion these relationships elicit. The drawing begins first in my work and I lose a great deal of it as I progress. In a way there is a loss in all of my work and also a process of redemption. The metal-leaf in my work represents a visual poetry, causing the viewer to pause and consider the imagery.
