First introduction to ceramics occurred when I returned to school after 3 years in the army. I was hooked the very first day. Over the years I have developed my throwing abilities, but was never satisfied with my glazing efforts. A few years ago I switched from cone 10 reduction work to cone 6 oxidation. This venture into cone 6 has allowed my to express my interest in the Light Screens executed by Frank Lloyd Wright. My work is also influenced by the Art Nuevo and Art Deco styles.
