Jill Tortorella

My passion for purpose leads me down new roads every day. A thrown vessel is just the beginning. I create pieces of function that are each unique and one of a kind. I like color, engineering my own bright glazes to adorn each form. Everything I make brings me closer to the the daily life of each user. Nothing production oriented comes out of my studio. All firings are in my handbuilt gas kiln, fired to 2350F for durability. I LOVE my job!
