For many years I have made hundreds of thousands of people laugh at my fine art humor. Yes hundreds of thousands. This new work is a strong departure for me, one I enjoy very much. No humor involved here. I chose to work in mixed media both oil pastel and acrylic. I have an assortment of acrylics in small plastic bottles that I can squeeze onto my painting surface. I add oil pastel so that a newer texture will contrast with the relief effect of the acrylics.
