Is it a painting or photograph? This is the most commonly asked question that Festival patrons ask when viewing my work. The works are based on the photographs that my husband and I take on our travels. The urban scenes are taken of people being themselves and the swimmer scenes are shot in our pool. Photorealism is the attempt to mimic the working photograph. My journey is working through many abstract shapes that, when viewed as a whole, become extremely realistic.
