James Perry Rombye Perry

All of my work is truly hand-cut and hand-sewn. No machines are used in my process. I cut my original designs with tailor shears, glue the hems, then hand punch, with a thronging chisel, the holes for the sewing. The hand stitching is the key difference between my work and other leather workers. I use the finest chrome tanned American and Spanish leathers and I accent my purses with Italian brass findings. My wife is the only other person who helps me with the hand sewing.
