James Mosier

I have been weaving for nearly thirty years. In 1979 I started weaving basket forms. In 1995 I began to incorporate metal into my work. As time passed, I started to work with aluminum. This material replaced the fibers I was using in my vessels. In 2001 I started to paint on the aluminum to create my textures and colors. Now all my work is woven with painted aluminum.
