My etchings celebrate one of our greatest assets – our natural heritage.
These original intaglio prints are made by creating textures and grooves below the surface of zinc plates. The techniques I use are acid-etching and aquatinting, engraving, mezzotint, photo-etching, and drypoint. I hand ink and wipe the plates, and manually pull the prints in my studio.
Some of the resulting images are then watercolored.
