The visual memory continually fills itself with shapes, situations and fragments of possible anecdotes. I look at the city, landscapes, and people and look for connections for indices, which allow appearances to become stories or more simply, pictures. At home in the studio painting also comes onto the scene. That is the second part of the adventure: the image in my head is not real, it is often destroyed once again by the conditions of the act of painting, until memory and the present painting harmonize.
