Your life, the places you will be, and the things you will experience are unpredictable; just like the final product of a piece of art; the human being is constantly changing as time goes by, not only physically, but emotionally and psychologically as well. It is the journey through life which influences our thoughts and behaviors that define us and our future. Depending on this journey, the experiences and challenges we face, we choose to either rise above our challenges or start creating the need for some type of support or excuses for our physical and psychological being. Logically or illogically, in a conscious or unconscious way, we all act or react to our previous experiences in different ways.  It is with this thought in mind that I produce my sculptures which mirror my thoughts, my feelings; as a human being, as a father, as a husband, as an artist.  As a sculptor I enjoy working with many different materials from wood, steel, bronze, stone and found objects. I tend to gravitate towards a mixture of stone and steel; or wood and steel, with the addition of patinas or paint to accentuate certain details of the piece of art.
